If only I can rant but no I don't even have the energy to do that anymore plus no one gives a shit and it's unproductive anyway.

Productivity. Right.

I've not been productive and I feel like shit.

I should stop using the s-word. Sooner or later I'll regret it (actually I already do).

I've been escaping from the world in general. General Paper common test on Wednesday. Just got 18/50 for my essay. My structure, grammar, expression, logic, examples, content, whatever is worthless.

Well by now you should know I can't really think straight. Actually you shouldn't cause you're just a white space I type on.

I think He knows, but still sometimes I have a hard time getting to Him.

S-slurpee I don't even know what I'm typing even more.

Let's summarize what got me so down today:

1) Guilt = I've not been doing work and ain't planning to. I suck, I know
2) Low GP scores = well it wasn't actually expected since I thought I did decently for the test but apparently nope, 7/35 for content you don't say
3) Japanese = I realised lessons don't actually help and you have to work your ass off on your own and apparently everyone else is, surprise surprise! So I'm pretty screwed, my grammar vocab etc. whatever aren't improving simply because I'm not putting work into it.
4) Social isolation = not really I guess. I kind of want people, but then again I don't. Like I know that guy was just trying to be nice and make conversation (hopefully, I try very hard to believe so) but commenting on how weird sounding my Japanese accent is ("Is it the weirdest in class?" "...I won't answer I don't like to offend people" "... ...you think you haven't offended me enough?"), and showing off how he studies with his new samsung(?) tablet thingy on the exhausted trip back home doesn't help. At all.
Also my mom's been terribly nice but I've been a brat to her, so that's something. My dad's been kind of unstable as well, and it's terrible when she rants about him to me cause... well, guilt.
5) Idiot = when I speak with my classmates with dreams of solving world hunger with mouths full of philosophy politics how to study what materials fully annotated sets of notes I realised how shallow and ignorant and stupid I am. How many times did I repeat the word "realised"?
6) Bloody damn guilt and somehow I get too tired to give a slurpee about life because I actually do care hell damned much but it'll only hurt more that way.

No I just don't make any sense.

I just realised this is ranting after all.

And it's all about me, me, me. See how selfish? Yeah I'm showing off my moopiness whatever because I'm allowed to. Welcome to the internet where everyone yet no one gives a slurpee.

4) 1 biiig slice of cheapo fake "Hawaiian Pizza" - still very oily though...

5) 2 bowls of veg. soup with fish tofu, veg. balls etc. and stir fried cauliflower

Guide to the RIJC canteen

I don't think anyone's gonna see this, so this is more of a self reminder thingy.

Will fill up missing info, pics etc. as I go along...

Stall #1: Wanton noodles
Rating
Comments: Taste, check. Price, check. Portion size, check. Is definitely an upgrade from that old dry noodle store from RGS. You can add extra wanton/dumpling to your noodles. You can also ask for kue tiao or flat noodles instead of the regular thin yellow ones.
Menu : wanton noodles, dumpling noodles, pork rib noodles, noodle of the day etc. all priced at $2~$2.30

Stall #2: Snacks and drinks
Rating: 
Comments: Sells drinks and a wide variety of snacks at an equal/slightly cheaper price compared to old RGS canteen. There's bubble tea with extra-soft and yummy pearls + milo + other drinks at real decent prices and   MUFFINS + Cookies + lots and lots of niiice looking stuff. OwO
Menu: Fridge with your H20 caned milo etc etc etc. Muffins, pau, sandwiches, rolls, nasi lemak, sweets... varies slightly day to day. Prices are generally below $2

Stall #3: Ton Katsu ('Japanese' food)
Rating: ★ ★/2 (revised)
Comments: The price is okay IF you order the right stuff, the taste is nice IF you happen to order what you like, variety ok, but they give too much rice (for girls anyway) so remember to tell the uncle less rice please yep. Other than that... the rice + dishes don't really taste like Japanese, more like normal Chinese/Western food haha. Only link to Japanese is the special dishes they offer, like yaki soba/udon (but they are not that nice and way more expensive D: ). Oh and idk why but when I tried this stall for the first time, they overcharged me ($2 for plain rice + 1 funny tasting beef dish) so that left a pretty bad first impression...
Menu: Ton katsu, omu rice, yakisoba etc. Price varies a lot depends on what you order, can be anything from $1.20 (rice + 2 veg - pretty worth it) to $3+ (if you order expensive dish i.e. yakisoba at $2.50 and add stuff to that)

Stall #4: Western food
Rating: ★ ★/2
Comments: Where do I start. GLORIOUS baked rice set with coleslaw+some other veggie, baked beans and mashed potato. Taste is superb, portion size just right. I won't mind eating at this store every day... Btw, DO NOT just stare at that fixed menu, look into the counter and see what is up for the day. Baked rice wasn't on the menu at all, would have missed the delicacy if I didn't dare to ask. Be brave for food! ;D
Menu: Spaghetti, pork, chicken, beef cooked in various ways and sausages , fries, mashed potatoes etc - you get the idea. Things vary from day to day, prices are  extremely reasonable for the quality of food offered ranging from $2-$3 per set meal (adding stuff will cost more but you may not resist it! >w<)

Stall #5: Noodles and Porridge
Rating: 
Comments: Tried the porridge today, not bad. Loved it in fact. Thing is, I'm not a fan of fishball /mushroom /minced meat/ shredded chicken noodles so don't think I'll be eating much else from this store...
Menu: "Chicken" Porridge (near vegetarian) @ $1.20, various types of noodles are around $2, can top up sides by adding 20-50(?) cents.

Stall #6: Chinese mixed vegetable rice
Rating: ★ ★/2
Comments: Portion is just right, the taste not bad (IF you know how to order - I followed senior in front ;P), price is pretty decent. Definitely an improvement - again proved how sucky RGS food used to be.
Menu: Plain rice + lots of dishes. The price can be quite cheap - I spent $1.60 on the meal shown in the pic below (rice + sauce + veg + meat)

Stall #7: Raffles Yong Tau Foo
Rating: 
Comments: Marvelously healthy, marvelously nice. Hearty and affordable - choose between 30 cents~50 cents (for the fried stuff mostly) pieces~ portion's not a problem cause you can control that yourself, and it's really easy to order - for those who are kind of scared to ask and stuff - because everything's open on the shelf hehe.
Menu: Yong tau foo, you can choose to go with noodles, rice, been hoon, kway teow, some other noodle of the day (e.g. lor mee) or nothing. Price erm you can decide for your self - can be as expensive as $3++, or as cheap as around $2 or less. SPECIAL recommendation: chee cheong fun @ $0.50 (a whole 30 cents cheaper than in the old RGS canteen! =w=)

Stall #8: Fruitful Fruits
Rating: ★ ★/2
Comments: Cheaper than old RGS canteen again... also sells agar agar, bean curd and fresh fruit juice. Great place to go for healthy snacks.
Menu: Kiwi, banana, pineapple, apple, watermelon, guava etc. at $0.30/piece-$1.40/cup of mixed fruits (and the juices of these fruits at $1-$1.50), soya bean curd (2...3 different flavours?) at $1.40, soya milk at $0.50 and more...

Stall #9: Lum something chicken rice
Rating: 
Comments: Weird tasting rice with a bit of char shew/white or roasted chicken/some other kind of chicken on top. Warning: I got diarrhea from eating food here...
Menu: Different kinds of chicken/char shew rice  at $2, veggie +$0.30, tofu/egg +$0.50

Stall #10: Haw's Kitchen
Rating: ★ (my own) ★ (what others seem to think)
Comments: Okay maybe I ordered the wrong stuff but for me, the portion's too big and the price too high. Quality of food is fine but not exceptional...
Menu: Rice with vegetable dishes, sliced and fried fish soup porridge/with rice, noodles, bee hoon etc. Price unsure - seem to be different from what is stated on list D: got charged $3 when it should have been $2.60

Stall#11: Sarifah Muslim Food
Rating:  
Comments: Reasonable prices, the nazi lemak rice is good and they give a LOAD of ikan bilis peanuts + sambal chilli with the set. The rest of the stuff looks pretty decent too :)
Menu: Nasi lemak set at $1.50, rice, mixed side dishes... at $0.40+ for veggie to $1+ for meat?

Stall#12: Maan and Yati's Kitchen (Halal)
Rating: ★ ★/2
Comments: Normal rice and veg stall with other stuff...? If you like Nasi Padang from old RGS canteen, you'll love this stall as well :D
Menu: Honestly I forgot. But check the stuff on display and check the menu and ASK - sometimes special dishes are only available on certain days. Prices... depends on what you order, decent meal should be around $2+ as usual.

Stall#13: Hassin something Indian stall...?
Rating: N.A.
Comments: Have never seen it up for business since 15Jan. Will update if anything changes... Such a pity, since the photos of the pratas and curries featured on the shop front look pretty attractive * u *
Menu: N.A. - looks like they had prata and naan...

Stall #14: Authentic Chinese cooked food store with random pictures of snacks and bubble tea on the shop front...
Rating: ★(what I feel) ★(what others may feel)
Comments: Things you probably need to know - (1) the shop owner seems to be from China and (2)the food taste almost exactly like what my mom cooks at home. I would have given it a higher rating, but they give soooooooo much rice (I suspect that the owner came from my hometown cause that's what they do - eat a lot of carbo...), there is little variety in side dishes, and the price isn't exactly desirable... Still not sure if they sell said bubble tea etc. Shall update once confirmed.
Menu: Unconfirmed, but definitely includes lots of rice and a few very non-Singaporean-Chinese-dishes. Like fried green chilli padi (YUM - for me haha) and tomato with egg etc. Price wise... normally it'll be from $2-$3+ but you should ask before you order just in case. Meal in photo below cost $3 due to expensive fish D:

Seven-eleven
Rating: ★ ★/2
Comments: Need I elaborate? Pretty safe place to get food. Small, cramped, but if you fish around, you'll find something.
Menu: Uh, normal 7-11 stuff. Prices may not be so friendly, but exceptions include $1 waffles, warm snacks, student priced slurpees and mashed potato combo on discount.

Detached store in canteen (?)
Rating: ★ ★/2
Comments: Special mention: cheeeeeeeese pasta.  The pasta's nice, worth it, but it's super unhealthy, too big in portion, and you may get sick of it easily. Recommended for ravenous people who feel super cheesy (no pun intended). Another word of advice: don't add cheese sausage to your cheese pasta. I think you know what will happen... and ask for small bowl of pasta at $1.50 or else the auntie will give you the gigantic $2 bowl by default :C
Menu: Cake sticks at $1, beancurd at $1.40, sausages at $1 and pasta at $2/$1.50 for smaller bowl. Pretty reasonable.

3) 1 blob of mashed potato, 6 potato wedges, 4pc popcorn chicken, 2pc braised chicken(?), few spoonfuls of rice, lettuce and tomato...

4) Long John Silver's curry fish rice meal - big blob of rice with 1 pc fried fish + tartar and curry sauce. With a cup of 12oz coke...

Eh I need to eat veggie... and stay away from fried stuff :(

2) Bubble tea, pearls included (SUGAR + TAPIOCA! oh no ;u;)

3) Rice + curry sauce + chicken cutlet (gah I ate the skin as well orz) + long beans + cheese sausage (I know, I know...)

4) Big cup of freshly squeezed apple juice, zilch sugar

5) Huge bowl of vegetable soup with soft boiled egg

6) A medium sized banana

Food Blog 1

I am going to be serious about my diet this time. I mean I've lost 3kg successfully before, but then gained them back after a while... argh.

Listing what I ate should help.

1) Weird "Japanese" beef with rice from school canteen. Threw majority of the rice away but still. Shall remember to not buy from that stall again.

2) Regular slurpee from 7-11. So guilty.

3) HUGE bowl of cheese pasta. It was only nice for the few first bites before I got sick of the super cheesy taste ): but it's still quite worth it. Good to eat when you're super hungry/feeling super cheesy (no pun intended).

4) Home made yong tau fu, 2 bowls. Has like fishcakes etc etc but it's mainly veg so it's... okay? OTL it has potatoes though...

5) 5 squares of milk chocolate. I always have sugar rushes at like around 8-10pm every day grrrr- /facepalms

HOW IS THIS A DIET EVEN.

Stuff I should actually be worrying about:

-SAT. In 2 days.
-CCA trials, portfolios, etc.
-JC life. Especially about studies, new subjects, enrichment programs, etc.
-My future in general.
-... ... ... ... I have to get back to the real word. It's hard, since I've been surviving with 20% of myself standing on solid ground since, idk, forever?
